Facilities Consultancy & Training

Airbus is a successful aircraft manufacturer. Over recent years it has experienced an evolution in the development and production of the A380 super jumbo aircraft and the A350 long range wide body aircraft. The Airbus UK sites at Broughton and Filton manufacture wings, wing assemblies and testing facilities. The Broughton site manufactures composite carbon wings, which are a major advancement in wing and aircraft technology for its strength, durability and lighter weight than the traditional aluminium wings.

Evbex has undertaken a number of projects on behalf of Airbus over many years. More recently it delivered a strategic review of its outsourced FM service contracts, systems, processes and documentation; delivered a number of business improvement and transformation workshops with its major FM suppliers; procured a number of FM service contracts, including its London headquarter building.

Evbex was initially engaged to review the FM service contracts that existed between Airbus and two major FM suppliers. The accumulated value of these contracts was circa $25 million pa.

Following recommendations and advice given by Evbex in the report, Evbex was further appointed to run a number of collaborative workshops between Airbus and its FM suppliers to establish business improvement opportunities. This has resulted in a number of positive initiatives that will deliver cost certainly, working efficiencies and improved outcomes. Evbex continues to lead and deliver this process.

Due to the success of the initial engagement projects, Evbex has managed a number of FM procurement services, providing the full range of tender services to deliver best value, including to Airbus’s headquarter building in London.

Evbex will continue its successful relationship with Airbus throughout 2019 to provide on-going advice and support to Airbus through Business Improvement and Compliance workshops and audits.
