Wales Millennium Centre (WMC) was created as a stage for Wales, to reflect the spirit of a nation, and become a home for the performing arts.
The design reflects both the natural and industrial landscape of Wales, taking inspiration from the sea-cliffs and steel industry of South Wales and the jagged slate mines found in the north.
It is home to a number of cultural and performing arts institutions in Wales and is one of the most popular attractions in Wales with circa 1.5 million visitors a year.
As a major and distinguished landmark project within Wales, Evbex has supported this landmark project since its inception and provided a host of FM consultancy services including: Preparation of the Business Case, FM Strategy and sourcing options, Procurement and Tendering Services, Customer Satisfaction Surveys, Workshops, Audits and ad-hoc FM consultancy services.
During 2018, Evbex undertook a comprehensive review of how the FM services were being delivered at the Centre. This resulted in a major outsourcing project for the entire range of FM services being delivered at the Centre.
Evbex managed and delivered the tender project, including the development and production of FM specifications, Terms and Conditions, Key Performance Indicators and Pricing Schedules to ensure that the WMC would receive best practice, optimum value and a solid foundation for delivering and managing FM services for the next 3-5 year period.
Evbex will continue to work with the WMC in delivering contract support services, including control of the FM supplier to ensure contract and statutory compliance at all times.
